CONVERGING PATHS
CONVERGING PATHS
The project explores how architecture can operate through intensity rather than scale, concentrating activity without imposing itself.
The outer arches lean outward, extending toward surrounding pedestrian flows, while the inner ones orient movement toward the center, allowing trajectories to gradually converge. What begins as a void becomes a space filled by collective presence.

The structure is composed of two arches at different scales, arranged in a polar configuration that defines an interior and an exterior without fully enclosing either. It combines galvanized steel with a woven henequen mesh, a natural fiber with deep Mayan roots, to explore permeability, lightness, and accessible material systems.
